Partial Discharge Monitoring for Transformers

The innovative PDMT-S System utilizes the same proven UHF technology used in the PDMG-R system for GIS to collect PD data from between 3 and 6 couplers installed on the transformer tank and transmit this information to a Master Control Unit. Software then performs expert interpretation and analysis to detect and alarm on dangerous dielectric faults - allowing the condition of the insulation system to be simply and effectively monitored over the transformer life.
